Jesuits in Britain (JiB), working through the Jesuit Institute (JI), is committed to ensuring that all pupils, staff teams and the wider school family within Jesuit schools are nurtured and supported, particularly in their lived experience of the Ignatian charism and understanding of the Catholic faith. JiB is also committed to contributing the gifts of Ignatian pedagogy more broadly to help ensure a vibrant future for Catholic education in the UK.
To further develop this work, four new roles are being created within the JI team:
• Assistant Schools Officer - supporting our existing JI Schools Officer
• Schools Ignatian Formator - 3 region-based posts:
- London (Wimbledon College, St Ignatius College Enfield, Donhead Preparatory School)
- Lancashire (Stonyhurst College, St Mary’s Hall, St Joseph’s)
- Glasgow (St Aloysius College & Junior School)
