1 Convalescence at Loyola

The Life of St Ignatius Loyola by Carlos Saenz de Tejada (1897 - 1958). These watercolours were published posthumously as prints by the Jesuit periodical, El Mensajero de Corazon de Jesus (Bilbao, 1958). Ignatius convalesces at Loyola in norther Spain following his injuries at the battle of Pamplona (20th May 1521). A higher resolution version of this file is available on request.
