Rope of Edmund Campion Relic

The rope used to bind Campion to the hurdle on which he was dragged to Tyburn, recovered by Fr Robert Persons SJ. Most of this relic is kept at Stonyhurst. Sections of the rope were given to St Francis Xavier Church Liverpool, to Campion Hall Oxford at its foundation, and to the Vatican Collections on Campion's canonization in 1970.

Spiritual Exercises Week 1

This painting by Catalan artists Gemma Guasch and Josep Asuncion hangs in the entrance to the spirituality centre at Manresa where, in the cave above which it is built, St Ignatius prayed and wrote the beginnings of the Spiritual Exercises in 1522.
