We Hope: Reflecting Back, Gazing Forward

You are invited to a special Pray As You Go online Advent retreat.

‍

Together, we will step into a sacred time and space in order to welcome the season of Advent into our hearts.

This year, we’re collaborating with The Jesuit Institute to offer a weekend of reflecting back and gazing forward at Christ. The team at JI spend their time gently accompanying so many people from all walks of life and they are ready to accompany PAYG listeners as we walk into Advent.

The last few years have been full of global events and personal journeys. This retreat will create the space to breathe and reflect back on where God has been in all these moments. In doing this, we can more readily gaze towards our hopeful future with Christ.

We will be “living” inside a stretched Examen prayer for the weekend, with each session holding space for one Examen reflection point.

The weekend will be a mix of guided reflection times, personal prayer and a chance to enter into community and meet with other PAYG users from all over the world.

Sessions will be held on Zoom and for the very first time, we will have special sessions available for those in the US from EST zones.

Dates: Friday 29th November (evening) to Sunday 1st December

We love putting on these events! But there is a cost involved in running them. Therefore, the suggested donation for this event is £50. However, we don’t want finance to be a block for anyone attending so do let us know if the cost is a challenge for you in this season.
